Most problems are a permission the app was never granted, or a language pack that hasn't finished downloading. Both are below. If it's neither, email us and a person will read it.

iOSSpeech needs its own switch: Settings → Privacy & Security → Speech Recognition.
AndroidMake sure Google Speech Services / voice input is installed and enabled.
Typed translation keeps working whether or not you grant either one.
Packs are large. Stay on Wi-Fi and keep the app open while the download runs — it pauses if the app goes to the background.
If it stops partway, start it again. Nothing is lost and nothing is charged; it picks up a fresh copy.
Playback uses your phone's own voices. If a language has no voice installed, the translation still appears as text.
iOSSettings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices.
Write to support@jumbochat.io and include your device model, OS version, and what you were doing when it happened. That's usually enough to reproduce it on the first try.
No account, no cloud history. Translation runs on your device once a language pair is downloaded. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
